About the size of Wales, located at the eastern end of the Alps, Slovenia borders Italy, Austria & Croatia. The country has much to offer, with majestic mountains and lakes in the north-west, natural spas and vineyards to the east and beautiful Mediterranean style beach resorts to the west. The apartments are located in the village of Bovec. There are numerous walking and climbing opportunities to be had, where mighty mountain peaks weave together with sheep and goat pastures criss-crossed with trails, enchanting streams, rivers, and waterfalls to make some wonderful scenery. Bovec is the adventure sports capital of Slovenia. It is a charming and picturesque village nestled below the Julian Alps in the heart of the beautiful Soca Valley. The mountain range on the western side of the valley represents the Italian border. An alpine centre within Slovenia’s famous Triglav National Park, home to many mountains rising above 2500m. Bovec offers a wide variety of tourist activities throughout the year and has many adventure sports agencies for those that like outdoor pursuits. The River Soca which runs through the valley, is one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe and is famous for it’s white water rafting. There is a great range of welcoming cafes, bars and restaurants all within 5 minutes walk from the accommodation.
